A hose clamp is manufactured to secure a hose over a fitting, by clamping the hose down, it stops the fluid in the hose leaking at the connection. Regular attachments include anything from car engines to bathroom fittings.
Rope (Crosby)Clamps
The “Crosby” wire rope clamp is a galvanized fitting used to securely fasten wire rope or guy strand. It is extremely durable. The U bolt goes over the wire and the iron saddle is attached underneath.

Circlips come in two main types – internal and external. An external circlip is manufactured to fit around a bore, whereas internal circlips are designed to fit inside a cylindrical shaft or housing.

Selloc Spring Pins also known as ‘Slotted’ and ‘C’ Spring pins have a slot along the length of one side which enlarges and creates tension against the wall of an unthreaded hole.
Dowel Pins
Dowel pins are hard, headless, cylindrical metal rods that have been machined to specific tolerances. These pins are typically used to align, locate, or join components together to absorb lateral stress. However, they can also be used as a pivot, shaft, or hinge.
Gravity Pins
Gravity locking pins are a safety feature that locks the beam to the frame of the rack. This is an important feature of building frames and racks as it assists in preventing any beams from falling thereby damaging stock and causing harm to staff members.
R-Clips
R-clips, also known as retaining pins are commonly used to fasten the ends of round shafts such as axles and clevis pins. The straight leg of the R-clip is pushed into a hole near one end of the shaft until the semicircular part holds one side of the shaft resisting any force removing the R-clip.
Split Pins
Split pins are commonly used to secure a shaft or similar component in place. They are also used to keep machinery aligned. The split pin is placed through a hole and the tines of the pin are then bent to fasten the pin in place. You will need a set of pliers or additional tools to help you bend the tines into position.
