Cleveloc Nuts
A Cleveloc Nut is a self-locking nut with quality re-usability characteristics and superior locking. It holds a geometrically developed elliptical collar to provide flexible locking. This elliptical form ensures a high fatigue life and consistent performance, as well as dependability in service.
Flange Nuts
A flange nut is a nut that has a wide flange at one end that acts as an integrated washer. This serves to distribute the pressure of the nut over the part being secured, reducing the chance of damage to the part and making it less likely to loosen as a result of an uneven fastening surface.
Dome Nuts
Hex dome nuts or acorn nuts got their names due to the dome-shaped projection on one side of the nut. This is mostly used to protect objects close to the ends of screws from scratches and structural injuries. It also reduces the effects of physical mishaps on human skin if it somehow forcefully hits the fasteners.
Wing Nuts
A wingnut is a type of nut with two large metal “wings”, one on each side, so it can be easily tightened and loosened by hand without tools.
Lock Nuts
There are times when the need arises for a threaded fastener that offers increased resistance to loosening; lock nuts are frequently the go-to solution when an application will be exposed to significant motion or vibration.
Cage Nuts
Cage Nuts generally slot into a panel or frame hole to then receive a threaded fastener. This ensures the item is safely secured to the panel.
Square Nuts
Square nuts are typically used where there is an inset or channel in the receiving surface, such as in furniture, railroad applications, or other metal assemblies.
Square Pressed Nuts
Square press nuts provide a few advantages in certain applications, from railway lines to electronics and construction projects where they can be tightened with pliers or a wrench, making them ideal for use in blind locations.
Square Weld Nuts
Square Weld Nuts are designed to create a robust, permanent fastening when welded to another metal surface. Each Square Weld Nut features four projections (located on each corner of the nut), which allows the nut to be bonded to the surface through welding.
Hex Weld Nuts
Hex-weld nuts have 3 or 6 projections that permanently bond with the host material during the welding process, allowing for a fast and secure hold. Short, medium, or long piloted weld nuts are available and typically contingent upon the base material thickness.
Hex Nuts
Hex nuts are six sided general purpose nut with internal screw threads. Hex nuts are one of the most common hexagonal fastener with internal threads that screws on to the shank of a hex head cap screw or other bolts.
Castle Nuts
Castle Nuts help to hold a wheel onto an axle. They are particularly useful because, as long as they are secured with a cotter pin, they will typically stay in place even when the wheel is moving and causing vibration. Regular nuts may have a tendency to unscrew over time due to vibration.
Coupling Nuts
Coupling nuts are used to join two threaded rods or pipes, including threaded rods or pipes of different sizes. Usually constructed in a hex shape for wrench hold, the most common uses for coupling nuts include tightening rod assemblies or to pushing a completed rod assembly outward.
Sheer Nuts
Sheer nuts are ideal for security purposes due to their unique design and material properties. They provide a strong deterrent against unauthorised removal, as the nut shears or breaks away when tampering is attempted. Additionally, the construction enhances durability and resistance to corrosion.
Spring Nuts
Spring nuts are one-piece, self-locking nuts that secure screws in strut channels. They consist of a nut with grooves on the side that fit over side of the channel edge, a spring to hold the nut in place during installation and a threaded screw hole.
Tee Nuts
A tee nut is a type of nut used to fasten a wood, particle or composite materials workpiece, leaving a flush surface.
Nyloc Nuts
The Nyloc Nut is an economic locking nut and ideal in applications where vibration or motion could loosen or undo the nut. The nut can also be used to assist sealing the bolt thread against seepage of oil, water, petrol, paraffin and other liquids.
Stover Nuts
The Stover Nut is a hex all-metal prevailing torque self-locking nut, made to DIN 980V standard. These locknuts are vibration resistant self-locking nuts, which are resistant to shocks, vibration and dynamic loads – and they can be reused a number of times.
